Try before you buy
You can install and use InstallMate 9 in Trial mode, which lets you evaluate its features without having to purchase a registration.
Registered users can download and use the installers in Unrestricted mode.
To distribute your installers, please buy a license. With the license you receive a registration code that unlocks the installers for royalty-free distribution and entitles you to free technical support and free minor updates within the product version (for example, InstallMate 9.x).
System requirements
The InstallMate 9 development environment and its installers run on all available 32-bit, x64, and IA64 editions of:
- Windows XP and Server 2003 (including R2)
- Windows Vista and Server 2008
- Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2
- Windows 8 and 8.1, plus Server 2012 and Server 2012 R2
- Windows 10 and Server 2016-2019
- Windows 11 and Server 2022
For Server editions, both Full and Core installations are supported in GUI as well as console mode.
Note: Support for pre-Windows XP installers was removed from InstallMate 9.5 and later. See Breaking changes in InstallMate 9.5 for more information. An archival version of InstallMate 9.4 is available for download to customers who still require installation on these platforms.

Trial mode - Unregistered users
After downloading and installing InstallMate 9, you can evaluate InstallMate in Trial mode subject to the following restrictions:
- The installers that you create in Trial mode will run on any system, but expire 4 hours after you create them.
- The installers may be used for evaluation purposes, but not redistributed.
To distribute your installers, please buy a license. With the license you receive a registration code that unlocks the installers for royalty-free distribution and entitles you to free technical support and free minor updates within the product version (for example, InstallMate 9.x).
Unrestricted mode - Registered users
If you have registered InstallMate 9 previously, then you can update your copy by downloading and installing the latest version of the product you have registered.
You do not have to re-register, and you do not have to uninstall the previous version first - the new version will automatically uninstall the previous version, while retaining your settings and registration information.
Distribution of installers that you create as a registered user is unrestricted and royalty-free. You are also entitled to free technical support and free minor updates within the product version (for example, InstallMate 9.x).
