Deleting a component can optionally delete all referenced objects as well. What do you want to delete?
The indicated component is about to be deleted; this message asks you to confirm that you really want to delete it. The name of the component appears alongside the message text.
In addition to the component itself, you can also choose to delete all objects that it references (i.e., all objects that are linked to this component). Because this deletes a potentially large number of objects, you should carefully consider if this is what you intend to do.
Click Delete to delete the component, Skip to skip this component (keeping it in the project) and to continue with the next component, if any, or click Cancel to cancel the deletion of this and all remaining components. In addition, select one of the following options:
- Delete this item - Deletes the component, but leaves all the objects that are linked to this component intact, although they will be unlinked. This option is best if you plan to reassign those objects to a different component.
- Delete this item and all referenced items - Deletes the component and all the objects that are linked to it. This option allows you to delete an entire component and everything it contains in one action.
