A common reason why a log file cannot be opened is that the project (and hence the log file) resides on a read-only network share, or in a folder where you don't have write access.

Click Yes to continue with the build, but without a log file, or click No to cancel the build so you can correct the problem with the log file. In the latter case, it might be necessary to save the InstallMate project elsewhere; use the File > Save Project As... command to do so.
