An error occurred when InstallMate tried to extract the data from an MSI database binary stream to an external file.

Background information

The MSI database contains binary data in internal OLE streams. When an MSI database is imported by InstallMate, the data from these streams is extracted and stored in external files for use in the InstallMate project.

Solution

Inspect the error message to see what went wrong and try to resolve the problem. If this doesn't help, then please contact our technical support department support@tarma.com, if possible with a copy of your .msi file and the system information from the About InstallMate - System Info dialog box.
