Background information

The InstallMate Setup.exe stubs are matched to the InstallMate release of which they are part. Because of differences between releases, you cannot use stubs from one version to build installers of another version.

Solution

Verify that you use the correct stub set in the package's Stub set attribute and that it was installed as part of the current InstallMate release. If that appears to be correct, then the actual stub files (stored in the InstallMate\Stubs folder) may be damaged. Try re-installing InstallMate to resolve this problem.
